After going through procedures such as declaration, local review, formal review, expert review, and online publicity, Jiangsu Chianaref Refractory Co., Ltd. was rated as "Jiangsu Green Factory".

What is a green factory? A green factory refers to a factory that has achieved intensive land use, harmless raw materials, clean production, recycling of waste, and low-carbon energy in accordance with the "General Principles of Green Factory Evaluation" (GB/T36132-2018) and other evaluation standards.

Being rated as "Jiangsu Green Factory" this time represents the industry's recognition of Chianaref’s adherence to the "green and low-carbon" strategy; it demonstrates the level and strength of the company's intelligent manufacturing.

Refractory products are mainly used in high-temperature fields such as iron and steel smelting. The traditional refractory industry is mostly based on product manufacturing and sales, with high energy consumption and pollution. Since the "13th Five-Year Plan", the company has implemented a series of major measures around the strategy of "green and low-carbon, digital and intelligent manufacturing", integrating green and low-carbon concepts into enterprise management, effectively reducing resource and energy consumption, reducing production and operating costs, realizing enterprise transformation and upgrading, and laying a solid foundation for the sustainable development of Chianaref.

Chianaref adheres to the concept of "green development" to achieve clean production, recycling of waste and low-carbon energy; using natural gas fuel to reduce pollutant emissions and greatly reduce energy consumption. These are the epitome of the company building a "green factory".

During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Chianaref will further focus on green manufacturing innovation, increase resource investment in green manufacturing system, take energy saving and consumption reduction as the focus of green manufacturing, in order to achieve national level “green factory” target.
